The Rugby Champions Cup is a yearly event for which sports events tickets are often sought after. Also known as the Heineken Champions Cup, it is an annual tournament played under Rugby Union rules, with the first event being in 1995.
The tournament is currently organized by European Professional Club Rugby (EPCR) and the qualification process is relatively straightforward. For club teams who compete in leagues where the national team is part of the Six Nations Championship, qualification is acquired by finishing well in the league table. An alternative route of qualification is through the Challenge Cup.
The 2020 European Rugby Champions Cup promises to be an exciting one as Saracens are the current and 3-time champions, having defeated 4-time champions Leinster in 2019 final. The tournament finals will feature 20 teams, with 6 from England, 6 from France, and 7 from Ireland/Italy/Scotland/Wales based on their performance in the Pro14 competition.
