Since 2002, basketball teams have competed for a cup to determine the top club team in European basketball. Originally known as the ULEB Cup, the tournament changed the format in the 2008-09 season and has subsequently been known as the EuroCup. The ultimate winners are determined through a qualification process that begins with a Regular Season, with 24 teams competing. Those teams are Rytas (Lithuania) and Khimki (Russia) both winning twice, and Spanish team Valencia Basket winning 4 times – including the 2018-19 tournament. Valencia Basket player Bojan Dubljevic is the holder of the record for the highest total number of points scored across the tournament with 1217.
